My life. My card. My work. My lawsuit.
A freelance art director named Thomas O’Keefe is suing American Express, Ogilvy & Mather and Digitas, claiming the “My life. My card” work rips off his own trademarked “My card. My work” self-promotion campaign. O’Keefe says he sent his work to Ogilvy and Digitas, seeking employment, before the AmEx campaign broke in 2004. Anyone feel like having a knee-jerk reaction before knowing any of the particulars?
