Muslim Teens Convicted of Spray-Painting Burkas on Half-Naked Ad Models
First, the cops busted NYC's Moustache Man for drawing facial hair on subway ads. Now, London's Burka Boys have been brought to justice for spray-painting the Muslim cloak of modesty onto Lynx poster models they believed were flashing too much flesh. The two Muslim teens were fined $465 apiece for defacing bus-shelter ads they said offended their religious sensibilities. One of the apparently bedeviling posters featured model Kelly Brook as an angel. The teens said they were "just trying to do good," a mission they certainly accomplished by also painting over Nicolas Cage's ugly mug on a nearby movie ad.
