Leave your burger at the edge of the tub

Jackhottub Jack in the Box retains its status as the creepy uncle of the fast-food world with its newest Web site, Make a Jack Sandwich. (It originally attained said status the moment it introduced Jack sauce.) They’ve really outdone themselves this time. Whereas most sites like this let you upload an image of your face into a zany picture and e-mail it to your friends, this one lets you upload two images, one on either side of the Jack mascot, as the three of you relax in a hot tub. There’s also a link to the related commercial, which revels in the kind of exaggerated 1970s sleaze I’ve only seen a thousand times before. Maybe next time they’ll do a 1960s spoof with a vanload of hippies. Jack will be playing the sitar.
