Giant List Ranks Top Ad-Award Winners of 2011

If advertising awards are your thing, then this is the list for you—an exhaustive set of lists ranking the top ad agencies, campaigns and individual creatives of 2011 based on how many ad awards they won last year. (The work itself spans parts of 2010 and 2011.) It's called the Directory Big Won Creative Rankings 2011. BBDO New York comes out on top as the world's top agency, with David Lubars as the top creative chief. JWT Shanghai's "Heaven and Hell" print campaign was the most-awarded single campaign. Of course, there's much debate over whether ad awards have much correlation to client success in the marketplace, but this at least gives you a sense of which agencies are pulling in the hardware.
