A couple in High Point, North Carolina has found a cause: irked that American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino talks disparagingly about the local schools in her new book, Life Is Not a Fairy Tale, they have started a site, fantasiaslies.com, and asked city officials to take down signs which promote High Point as the “hometown of Fantasia Barrino.” (Barrino reveals in the book that she never learned how to read while attending the schools there.)
