Dish Network's latest ads floated into space
The first tangible ad effort from crowdsourcing agency Victors & Spoils for Dish Network stars a pair of goofy astronauts who crack jokes about how they "need space" and cackle as they float around a satellite that beams free HD down to Earth. The work's no worse than the brand's past ads, but the bar for this client was exceedingly low. At least this crowsdourced foray manages to avoid the self-serving religious "controversy" of last year's holiday lump of coal known as "Dishmas." But who suggested the Apollo 11-era cookie duster for the lead rocket jockey? Houston, we have a grooming problem! That joker should be launched from the crowd.
