Awkward chats common on Virgin America

Virgins Not to be outdone by other companies that are courting the Adult Swim demographic, Virgin America has a new cartoon series on its YouTube page. Each ’toon is about a minute long and features the same jokeless, awkward facsimile of real speech that worked so well for Tom Goes to the Mayor. But to be fair, it’s still better than you’d expect from a project called Virgin Americans, which, for me, conjures up pictures of pimply kids in Iron Maiden T-shirts. I’m still waiting for the “Mile High Club” gag, though. That train’s rarely late.
