All Saddam, all the time
Here’s a TV station that might have a tough time with ad sales. AldiyarSat, an Iraqi cable network, is the only TV outlet in the world broadcasting the Saddam Hussein trial daily. And you can now tune in, as AldiyarSat has struck a deal with JumpTV to broadcast over the Internet. For a $9.95 monthly subscription, you get gavel-to-gavel coverage of the tria dubbed into English. Ever since CourtTV covered the O.J. trial, courtroom drama has made for big TV ratings. But are Americans as interested in the Saddam trial? And will they care enough to watch it online?
