Westwood One announced Monday (Nov. 3) it will launch veteran sportscaster Tony Bruno into national syndication beginning Nov. 10. Bruno’s show, Into the Night with Tony Bruno, will be produced by The Content Factory, which handles syndication of Dan Patrick.
Originating from KLAC-AM, Clear Channel’s Sports station in Los Angeles, Bruno’s three-hour daily programming will air live 7 to 10 p.m. on the west coast (10 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the east).
According to Westwood, Bruno’s new program will initially air on 20 radio stations.
“We are pleased to bring one of the great sports radio voices back to the national airwaves in partnering with Tony Bruno and The Content Factory,” said Gary Schonfeld, president of Westwood’s network division. “This is going to be a show like no other and yet another example of our dedication to deliver excellent content to our valued affiliates, listeners and advertisers.”
