NFL Net to Televise Record Number of Preseason Games

The NFL Network is planning to televise a record 54 preseason NFL games this August, with a record 42 of them being produced in high definition, up from 32 last season. Eight of the games will be live on NFL Network and the rest will be televised on tape delay. Two of the live games will be NFL Network productions. The others will use local feeds.

The cable network is scheduled to televise 52 of the 65 preseason games that will be played, over a period of 26 days next month, either live or on tape delay.
