After covering television in the print and digital journalism worlds, The New York Times reporter Brian Stelter will be making the leap to a network he's been covering his entire journalistic career: CNN. "I've been at the @nytimes since college, so it's surreal to be leaving," tweeted Stelter. "I've learned everything here. To my colleagues: Thank you."

Stelter went from reporting headlines to making them in 10 years. The journo started TV news trade reporting site CableNewser when he was 18; he sold the site to MediaBistro (where it became TVNewser) in 2004 and moved to the Times in 2007.
