LIN TV announced Monday (Oct. 27) it will test an interactive TV technology that allows viewers to link what they see on TV to the Internet. Beginning this November, WTNH-TV and WCTX-TV, LIN’s ABC and MyNetworkTV affiliates serving the Hartford-New Haven, Conn. market will participate in Backchannelmedia’s TV-to-Internet click through market trial.

A select group of viewers and advertisers will particpate in the pilot, which allows viewers to use their remote control to “bookmark” content for forwarding to a personal Web site that can be accessed later.
