One of Hispanic radio’s biggest personalities, El Cucuy (Renan Almendarez Coello), has signed off of KLAX-FM “La Raza” in Los Angeles, dealing a blow to owner Spanish Broadcasting System. After five years with SBS, El Cucuy announced Monday (Sept. 15) he would focus on building his own radio network (he co-owns a radio station in New Mexico) and continue to work on his TV show, AzAzte pa ca for Azteca America, which debuted earlier this year.
