Time Warner Cable’s Roger Keating has joined Hearst-Argyle Television as senior vp of digital media for the 26-station group. He succeeds Terry Mackin, who was named president of Univision’s TV Station Group in February.

In his new position, Keating will focus on content development and creating new products, communities and services for the TV group’s broadband, mobile and digital TV multicast channels. His first day is July 7.

At Time Warner Cable, Keating was a member of the company’s strategy-setting operating committee and as its corporate executive vp of the Los Angeles region.
