Sci Fi Channel, We tv and Ion have secured separate off-net rights packages for CBS Television Distribution’s supernatural drama Ghost Whisperer.
Although terms were not disclosed, sources said the three deals were valued at around $700,000 per episode.
Once the rights to Ghost kick in next fall, Sci Fi will run the show in a weekly four-hour prime time stack, offering viewers the opportunity to tune in for “mini-marathons” of the Jennifer Love Hewitt vehicle.
We and Ion also will begin carrying the show in fall 2009.
