Comedian Matt Little Sums Up the Remunerative Joys of ‘Pizza Rat’

Take my viral video, please

There have been several recent pieces about Jukin Media, the five-year-old company with offices in New York, Los Angeles and London that scours the Internet to license the latest hot viral video footage. The latest is a CBS Sunday Morning report by Barry Petersen broadcast over the weekend.

Petersen at one point dialed up via Skype Matt Little, the New York comedian and actor who filmed 2015’s infamous “Pizza Rat” video. Here’s how Little summed things up, two years later:

“It did give me more money for the least amount of work that I’ve ever done in my life.”

Jukin co-founder Jonathan Skogmo told Petersen the company, which licenses videos in perpetuity, has paid out a total of more than $10 million to people like Little.
