Say Media has signed a deal with A+E Networks to run two of A+E’s digital properties, Bio.com and LifetimeMoms.com. Beginning in April, Say will oversee all editorial content, ad sales, technology, publicity and marketing for the sites, both of which will also migrate to Say’s own publishing platform.
A+E Networks this summer is rebranding its Bio channel as FYI, a network “defined by the world we live in today,” according to incoming president Jana Bennett.
The org chart at A+E Networks will finally start making sense: Robert DeBitetto, president and gm of A&E for the past decade, will leave his position as head of the network to run an internal production company called A+E studios that will create company-owned content for the company's cable networks and digital platforms.
History Channel revitalizer Nancy Dubuc continues her ascent up the food chain at A+E Networks, this time to the presidency of the group. She will be both president and CEO, and current topper Abbe Raven will advance to the newly created position of chairman.
