Yahoo Expands oneSearch in Asia-Pac
Yahoo has added five new carrier partners for its oneSearch mobile search service as part of a new initiative to build up its footprint in Asia Pacific, Fierce Mobile Content reports. Mahanagar Telephon Nigam (India); Hong Kong CSL; Smart Communications and Digital Mobil Phlis (Philippines); and Vibo Telecom (Taiwan) have all signed on to offer oneSearch.
The search giant also announced an English version of oneSearch with a voice-search component that understands regional accents. Additionally, Yahoo unveiled localized versions of Yahoo Go 3.0
