Sony Launched a PlayStation Tablet Last Night

Sony announced its latest handheld gaming device last night at E3. The PlayStation Vita is not a phone, but it will come with (optional) 3G data. It’s built around a 5″ (960 x 544) OLED screen with a capacitive touchscreen, and it’s running on a quad core CPU. It comes with 2 cameras, speakers, a microphone, as well as Wifi/Bluetooth/GPS.

The PS Vita is basically a PlayStation tablet, and given the hardware, it’s selling at a relatively competitive price.
