SkyVu raises undisclosed amount in round led by Lightbank
Mobile games company and creators of Battle Bears SkyVu today announced it has raised an undisclosed amount in a round of funding led by Lightbank, marking its first ever gaming deal.
NextView Ventures of Boston, Great Oaks Venture Capital of New York, former Greystripe CEO Michael Chang, and Nebraska Angels also participated in the round.
The funding will go towards marketing, expanding the brand to new markets and to open a new office in the Bay Area.
The 22 employee SkyVu is located in Omaha and is known for its action oriented Battle Bears games which have been downloaded by more than 18 million players.
