QuickPlay: Interest in Mobile Video on the Rise

QuickPlay Media has released the results of its second annual Market Tools survey. This latest report from the mobile TV and video solutions provider focuses on the US market, specifically mobile subscribers in the 18- to 35-year-old age group.

Some statistics:

* 78% of respondents expect to increase their mobile video consumption by 2010.

* Of those who haven’t tried a mobile TV or video service, 58% said the perceived cost is the biggest barrier to adoption.

* 55% of all respondents said they’re interested in mobile TV and video.
