B&N Now Discounting Nooks with People, NY Times Subscription
I’ve written in the past about efforts to bundle a tablet with a newspaper subscription, and today B&N is going to see if that will work for an eReader.
Barnes & Noble has just announced that they now have no less than 3 bundling offers. From now until 9 March, all new NYTimes Nook subscriptions will comes with a free Nook Touch or a discounted NookColor for $99. And B&N is also offering a discounted NooK Tablet with any new subscription to People Magazine.
“We are excited to work with The New York Times to present this unique offer that, for the first time ever, gives readers a chance to get a one-year subscription to our top-selling digital newspaper with an award-winning NOOK Simple Touch at no cost, or a NOOK Color at a $100 savings,” said Jonathan Shar, VP of the digital newsstand at Barnes & Noble.
