Nielsen has released its official Twitter TV ratings for 2013, which look at the shows with the biggest buzz on the social network over the past 12 months.
Nielsen has been tracking the relationship between Twitter and television since September of this year, calculating various metrics for the top shows (average audience, average impressions, average unique tweets per episode etc). And your winner? Breaking Bad, which averaged more than 6 million unique “viewers” per episode on Twitter, good enough to finish off second-placed The Walking Dead (4.89 million uniques).
American Horror Story, Scandal and Dancing With The Stars rounded out the top five.
