Mediagazer Scoring 100K Uniques per Month

Less than two months after its launch, Mediagazer—the Techmeme spinoff tracking news about the news—is attracting 100,000 unique visitors a month, according to Compete.

Beet.TV’s Andy Plesser caught up with algorithm-driven Mediagazer’s human editor, Megan McCarthy (she formerly of Valleywag and Wired.com’s Epicenter), to get the skinny on the site’s editorial mission and business model.

The site focuses on “the business of information,” McCarthy tells Plesser— “how people are talking about what they’re talking about, and the future of how communication is going to evolve.”
