Facebook seeks to improve reference docs with auto updates from source code

Facebook’s reference documentation for developers will be automatically generated from the platform’s source code, the company announced Thursday.

This change will help make the documentation more accurate since it doesn’t require Facebook to manually update the docs every time it tweaks code. For a company that makes changes as frequently as Facebook does, this makes a big difference. Having out-of-date or incomplete documentation is frustrating for developers. This change could improve their experience building on the platform and lead to more stability for the users and customers of products that integrate Facebook.
