Barclays Lowers Kindle Sales Estimates
Barclays analyst Anthony DiClemente Lowered his estimate for Kindle Fire sales this year from 18.4 million units to 17.1 million. DiClemente also lowered his estimate for Kindle eReader sales to 18.4 million which is down from his earlier prediction of 23.8 million.
Barron’s has more: “DiClemente also now thinks Amazon sold fewer Fires in the fourth quarter than previously imagined: he now models the company having shipped 5 million units versus 5.5 million previously, which he now says was ‘too aggressive’.”
