Are Consumers Ready for TV on their Cell Phones?

MSNBC.com has an interesting piece about broadcast television content on mobile phones. The article says that with the rate at which technologies are developing, mobile TV can potentially “blossom” in a year or so, but then goes on to question whether there’ll be a market for it.

Verizon Wireless has a mobile broadcast service based on Qualcomm’s MediaFLO technology. You have to wonder, though, how many people are willing to pay an extra $15 a month to access eight channels and watch them on a tiny screen.
