Univision Communications moved quickly to name a new president of its 63-station Television Group. On Monday, the Spanish-language broadcaster named Joanne Lynch to replace Terry Mackin, who exited suddenly last week after a brief five-month run.

Lynch was most recently senior vp and general manager of Univision’s cable network, Galavision, where she was responsible for programming, promotions and operations. She will be based in New York and will report to Ray Rodriguez, president and COO of Univision.
