Talk Radio Network Ventures partnered with Take On The Day for the syndication management and affiliate marketing of The Dr. Laura Program, hosted by Dr. Laura Schlesinger. Syndication was formerly handled solely by Take On The Day, Dr. Laura's independent radio syndication and theatrical company.

The long-term agreement with TRN, announced Thursday (Aug. 6), does not include national sales representation for the program, which will continue to be handled by Premiere Radio Networks, Clear Channel Radio's programming arm, through a multi-year contract renewed Jan. 2008.

Dr. Laura joins TRN's growing lineup of nationally syndicated Talk radio programs such as The Michael Savage Show, The Laura Ingraham Show, The Jerry Doyle Show, The Rusty Humphries Show and The Mancow Morning Show.

"With the addition of The Dr. Laura Program, the TRN companies now have the two most successful syndicated female voices in America," said Phil Boyce, president of programming for TRN.

The Dr. Laura Program, now in its 16th year of syndication, is the third most-listened to national radio show in the country and the top female-hosted program in the U.S. airing Noon to 3 p.m. PST on more than 250 radio stations, as well as Armed Forces Radio and Sirius XM Radio.
