TBS Draws Nearly 7 Million Viewers for NLCS Game 1

TBS drew nearly 7 million viewers with Thursday night’s National League Championship Series opener, putting it slightly above its year-ago delivery.

The Turner network’s telecast of Game 1 of the Phillies-Dodgers tilt served up 6.86 million total viewers per Nielsen live-plus-same-day ratings, an increase of 3 percent versus last season’s ALCS opener (6.69 million).

The Phillies’ 8-6 victory drew a 28.8 rating in the Philadelphia market and an 11.3 rating in the Los Angeles DMA.

Through 14 postseason MLB contests, TBS has enjoyed an 11 percent lift in total viewers, averaging 4.95
