The Screen Actors Guild and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers have a tentative deal for new, two-year contracts covering television and basic cable animation.

SAG’s animation negotiating committee recommended the contracts for immediate ratification without a membership referendum, and the guild’s national executive committee approved them.

The deals include annual wage increases of 3 percent, followed by 3.5 percent in the second year; a 0.5 percent increase in pension contributions; and new-media terms in line with those included in the TV/theatrical contract ratified in June.
