Meredith Broadcasting Group has reorganized its national sales division, trimming the number of national sales managers from nine to four and locating the positions where most national sales accounts are transacted. Four new national sales managers were named Thursday (Feb. 19): Peter Senseney and Jean Crowley in New York; Henry Krajewski in Los Angeles; and Lynn Evans in Chicago.

In their new positions, the four national sales managers will work with Meredith's national rep firms and the general sales managers at Meredith's 12 local TV stations in 10 markets.

"Our industry and the advertising environment have changed dramatically in recent months.
Therefore it's more important than ever to have the right sales people in place to advance our business," said Paul Karpowicz, president of Meredith Broadcasting.

All four new national sales managers have at least two decades of sales experience. Senseney was most recently senior vp and director of sales for Blair Television and Petry Media Corp. Crowley comes to Meredith from Comcast Spotlight, where she served as national sales manager. Krajewski was the former national sales manager for KVVU-TV, Meredith's FOX in Las Vegas. Evans was most recently senior vp of Petry Media Corp.

As a result of the reorganization, only three sales managers exited Meredith; the rest remain with the company.
