Linda Sullivan, president and general manager of KNBC, NBC Universal’s owned-and-operated station in Los Angeles, is retiring from her position later this year. She is leaving to join her husband Charles in his retirement and moving home to the Boston area.

Until a formal replacement is found, Craig Robinson, executive vp of operations and digital strategy for KNBC was named acting general manager.

Sullivan was named to her current position in May 2007 after serving as president and general manager of KNTV, the company’s owned-and-operated station in San Francisco, since 2002.
