An Associated Press plan to help make itself Internet-friendly has apparently ended in tears.

iCopyright—which has an agreement with the AP that allows bloggers and small Web publications to pay for its articles without subscribing to the wire service—is claiming in a lawsuit that the AP frustrated its ability to do business, both neglecting to promote the service, as well as locking the company out of its servers. 
At the time the agreement was signed in 2008, the newswire touted the service as a way to bring in extra money and cut down on copyright infringement.
