Despite a stellar performance from The 81st Annual Academy Awards, Fox still dominated the week of Feb. 16, with a first-place finish in households, total viewers and the three key demos — adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and adults 18-34. The network can, of course, thank two nights (and three hours) of American Idol for that. Regardless, Fox dipped year-to-year by margins of 20 percent to 25 percent in the five surveyed categories.

ABC tied Fox for first among adults 18-34, with a second-place finish elsewhere, and growth of as much as 30 percent in adults 18-34 from one year earlier.
