ESPN, SEC Strike New 15-Year TV Rights Deal

ESPN has reached an agreement with the Southeastern Conference under which ESPN, ABC, ESPN2, ESPNU and an assortment of other ESPN media platforms will televise and stream more than 5,500 SEC events over a 15-year period beginning with the 2009-10 season and extending through the 2023-24 season.

It is the longest national TV and programming rights deal in ESPN history.
