AMC’s Breaking Bad on Sunday night cooked up its most potent deliveries, as the third-season premiere averaged nearly 2 million total viewers.
The season opener drew 1.95 million viewers in its 10 p.m. time slot, marking the series’ all-time biggest audience and besting last year’s premiere by some 15 percent. Breaking Bad also scared up 1.15 million viewers 18-49, marking a 66 percent improvement over the prior-season average (692,000).
Other demos that saw significant gains were: men 18-49, up 50 percent to 663,000, and women 18-49, up 80 percent to 200,000.
