Chris Berry, the former general manager of WMAL-AM in Washington, D.C., is moving to the West Coast to head up KSPN-AM, ESPN Radio’s owned-and-operated station in Los Angeles as vp and general manager.

The announcement comes one day after Citadel Broadcasting, the owner of WMAL, consolidated general manager responsibilities for all three of its stations in the market under Jeff Boden, general manager of Citadel’s two music station, WRQX-FM and WJZW-FM.

For Berry, joining ESPN Radio, owned by Disney/ABC, is a homecoming of sorts.
