Whitney Holland has been named vp of program planning, scheduling and acquisitions, Bravo.

In her new role, Holland will oversee short- and long-term program planning for the network, and supervise acquisitions for Bravo. Based in New York, she’ll report to Jerry Leo, Bravo’s senior vp, program strategy and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Bravo, Holland put in some time at Discovery Communications. In September 2008, she was named vp of program planning for Animal Planet; before that, she served as director of scheduling for TLC.
