Backchannelmedia has added two New England TV stations to the testing of its TV Click Through to Internet Advertising Platform. The latest stations to sign on are WMUR-TV ABC 9 in Manchester, N.H., a Hearst-Argyle station, and WJAR-TV, Channel 10 in Providence-New Bedford, R.I., an NBC affiliate owned by Media General.

Backchannelmedia already had signed on WCVB-TV/DT Channel 5 in Boston, another Hearst-Argyle station.

The Bachannelmedia platform will allow viewers in test homes to click on icons that pop up from advertisers during regular TV programming.
