ABC has announced two new comedies, Mr. Sunshine and Happy Endings, in its midseason programming slate.
Sunshine stars former Friends actor Matthew Perry as the manager of a sports stadium in San Diego, who realizes on his 40th birthday that he cannot just get by on his charming, funny and noncommittal ways anymore. The show will open on Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 9:30 p.m. ET in place of Cougar Town, which takes a temporary break.
