Male-centric blog network Yardbarker has inked a series of new ad deals with Panasonic, Major League Baseball and the National Football League.
The fast-growing network is comprised of a variety of long-tail sites and blogs targeting young males. At its core are a large collection of sports-related sites, including blogs run by individual team enthusiasts and even professional athletes.
Panasonic has agreed to sponsor Yardbarker’s college network of sites during the ongoing NCAA men’s basketball tournament, while Major League Baseball is using the company’s grouping of baseball-focused properties to promote the start of its new season in April.
Meanwhile, the NFL is planning to promote a sweepstakes across part of Yardbarker’s network aimed at driving traffic to NFL.com leading up to the league’s draft next month.
