Twitter Adds MLB and NHL Games to Its List of Livestreaming Sports Action

Includes out-of-market contests and highlights

Twitter is continuing its summer winning streak with deals to livestream a number of games from Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League.

The agreements, announced on Monday morning, will give the company the rights to broadcast out-of-market games along with additional content. Fans won't need to be signed into Twitter to view the games, as anyone will be able to watch the contests, which will be streamed weekly beginning sometime later this year. Twitter has not announced yet which games will be streamed.
