Sprinklr, the New York-based social media analytics firm, acquired Dachis Group, the companies announced today. Sprinklr is adding Dachis Group’s social media strategy platform to its technology, to offer brands and marketers a full-service shop to manage campaigns, according to Sprinklr CEO Ragy Thomas.
Sprinklr has been a growing force in social media marketing. The combination of the companies brings an immediate technological boost that Sprinklr said would have taken it more than a year to build on its own.
Sprinklr delivers real-time marketing capabilities, giving brands the ability to quickly analyze campaigns and react. Dachis Group specializes in monitoring social media conversations and identifying online influencers.
Jeff Dachis of Dachis Group was also the co-founder of Razorfish, the digital media planning platform now run by Publicis Groupe. Dachis said he would stay on as a Sprinklr advisor and chief evangelist.
Sprinklr has raised $37.5 million in venture capital and Dachis Group raised $57.5 million. The companies did not disclose the terms of the deal. They said Dachis’ Austin headquarters would remain open with its workforce in place.
