Sadusky to Head Open Mobile Video Coalition

Vincent Sadusky, president and chief executive officer of LIN Media, has been elected to head up the Open Mobile Video Coalition, an organization of broadcasters that led the technical development and implementation of mobile digital television. Sadusky succeeds Brandon Burgess, CEO of ION Media Networks, who has served as the organization’s president since its inception in 2007.

Under Burgess, the OMVC launched earlier this year the mobile DTV consumer showcase in Washington, D.C., a demonstration of how broadcasters can broadcast to consumer devices using the digital spectrum.
