NBC News Twitter Account Hacked
Group behind Fox News hack claims responsibility
The NBC News account on Twitter appears to have been hacked.
Late Friday, the NBC account posted several "breaking news" messages claiming that the site of the Sept. 11 attacks were being attacked again, as captured in a screenshot from CNET. The final message: "NBC News hacked by The Script Kiddies. Follow them at @s_kiddies!"
Minutes afterward, both the NBC News and Script Kiddies accounts displayed "account suspended" messages. (The NBC News account is now back up, minus the Script Kiddies tweets.)
