Facebook's Ad Sales Exceeded $6.2 Billion in Second Quarter, as Revenue Jumped 59%

Social giant keeps growing

Facebook continues to make a load of money off of advertising, bringing in $6.24 billion in ad sales during the second quarter. Eighty-four percent of that sum came from mobile ads, the social giant revealed today. 

All in all, Facebook made $6.44 billion—a 59 percent year-over-year increase—during Q2 while adding 60 million monthly users, and it's stock price is at an all-time high of just over $123. The social network now has 1.71 billion monthly users, 1.13
