Has TV’s recent lack of Palin family adventures left you feeling empty? Time to set your DVRs, dear readers. Thanks to the BIO Network, Bristol Palin will be returning to the small screen faster than you can say "abstinence."
BIO has ordered 10 half-hour episodes of a (still untitled) reality show to star the 20-year-old daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, according to an announcement from David McKillop, executive vice president of programming for A&E and the BIO Channel. The series will track Palin’s move with her son Tripp from small town Alaska to Los Angeles, where she will work at a charity. Palin will live with two friends—Kyle Massey, 19, with whom she competed on Dancing With the Stars, and his older brother Chris, 21.
Bristol Palin, of course, has been a media fixture for the past several years, competing on DWTS and appearing on her mother's reality show, Sarah Palin’s Alaska, but McKillop says that BIO’s new show will be different: "This will be the first time she's opening up her real life, with her son and her friends, the Massey Brothers."
The project is being produced by Associated Television International for BIO and is set to air at the end of 2011.
