Coke goes patriotic, Seahawks get funny

The U.S. women's soccer team thrilled its fans last night by defeating Germany 2-0 to advance to the Women's World Cup final.

And while only a modest number of brands were ready on Twitter, those that were provided a glimpse into what will likely be a marketing melee when the U.S. takes on the winner of today's Japan-England matchup. The finalists will meet Sunday in Vancouver. 

Ritz, Downy, Fiat and Coke joined the conversation on Tuesday, while big props go out to the Seattle Seahawks for using a GIF from the comedy flick Beerfest that was actually contextual to the moment.
