Mediaspace Lands Minority Stake of Kaesu

Anticipating a shift in ad spending from large metro to local newspapers, Mediaspace Solutions announced that it’s taking a minority stake in Kaesu, a provider of digital ad platforms to community newspapers.

With the investment from Mediaspace, Kaesu will launch a new set of tools called CoolerAds that are designed to make it easier for national advertisers to place ads in multiple community papers with a single order.

While large metro papers are struggling, free community papers, an estimated $4 billion industry, are still viable and ripe for national advertising growth, pointed out Scot Kerr, president of Mediaspace.
